What's happening with the COVID-19 coronavirus?
Safeguarding Health

COVID-19 Virus

The virus is thought to spread mainly
From person to person
Between people who are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet).
Through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes

Students and Instructors can take precautions.

If you are experiencing any symptoms affiliated with this illness, please stay home. Do not come to class or remain in class if you develop symptoms. Seek medical attention.

We can all take safety steps

Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands
Do not shake hands
Avoid close contact with people who are sick
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze, or use inside of the elbow
Throw used tissues in the trash
Use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol

During these unprecedented circumstances we need to envision what it feels like to be in each other's shoes. We are in this together and can all play a part in keeping each other--our loved ones, friends, and communities--healthy and safe.
